'Tropico' is American rock singer Pat Benatar's sixth album, released in 1984.The album peaked at number 31 on the UK album charts and at number 14 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
In the UK the album only produced one single being 'We Belong', which provided Benatar with her 3rd biggest hit in the UK.
It has also been said by Benatar and Giraldo that this album is the first where they moved away from Benatar's famed "hard rock" sound and start experimenting with new, sometimes "gentler," styles and sounds.
