I keep getting Emails from people asking me to re-upload the links and music etc. I think people are just getting to those particular pages so are not reading the reason for the dead links.
So I am putting this in place so hopefully people will read it and stop Emailing me about it.
The reason the links are dead is that my account with Media Fire has been closed with all 11,000 files lost. That is why you can not download the things and No I can not re-upload them.
Eventually I will start doing that again when I have found something suitable. In the meantime this blog will be information only blog.

'My Camera Never Lies' is a 1982 single by pop group, Bucks Fizz. It became a UK number-one hit single in April 1982 and was featured on their album Are You Ready.
'My Camera Never Lies' was written by Andy Hill and Nichola Martin and produced by Andy Hill. Hill was the group's regular songwriter and producer, while Martin had been the woman who had put the group together and occasionally co-wrote some songs. This was her only No.1 hit, although she also co-penned the follow-up, 'Now Those Days Are Gone', which was a top 10 hit.
The lyrics concern a man who has become obsessed with a woman, who is clearly not interested, but he thinks differently and has convinced himself that she is lying to herself and so he pursues her. The 'camera' of the title denotes his view of the situation.
'My Camera Never Lies' was the third UK number one single for Bucks Fizz for a single week in April 1982 and saw the group reach the peak of their career, being the follow-up to 'The Land of Make Believe', which had also reached No.1 a few months earlier. The single was one of the group's biggest hits and after a swift rise to the top, remained on the chart for 8 weeks. This was to be the group's final No.1, but gave Bucks Fizz their third chart topper in 12 months. It was one of the top 40 selling singles of the year.
The promotional video which accompanied the song depicted Bucks Fizz dressed as characters from a number of famous movies, such as The Wizard of Oz and Cleopatra.
'My Camera Never Lies' featured on the group's second album, Are You Ready, released two months later. An extended version of the song was released on 12" single. A slight reworking with some re-recorded vocals was released on The Lost Masters album in 2006.

'Another Night' is a Japanese single released in 1981.
'Another Night' represented the UK in the 1981 edition of the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo, where it reached 5th place.
The groups name also written in Japanese as バックス・フィズ (literally Bakkusu Fizu) on front and reverse of insert.
Japanese title of Side 1 read Koi Wa Wonder Game (Wandaa Geemu) while Japanese title of Side 2 is a literal reading of the English title (Tukku Itto Tu Za Rimitto).
The single came with a picture sleeve insert with lyrics plus band history in Japanese text on the reverse

'One of Those Nights' is a 1981 single by UK pop group Bucks Fizz.
Written by Steve Glen, Mike Burns and Dave Most, it was the group's third single and their third UK top 20 hit.
The song was released in August 1981 and was the group's third single, following on from their win at the Eurovision Song Contest earlier in the year.
The single reached No.20 in the UK Charts and remained in the top 75 for 10 weeks.
'One of Those Nights' featured on the group's debut album, Bucks Fizz, which was released two weeks earlier.
'One of Those Nights' was a change of pace for the group, after two upbeat singles, this one was more slow-paced and dramatic. Its lead vocal was performed by member Bobby G.
Unlike their other releases, the group didn't record a Promotional Video for this single.

Bucks Fizz is the debut album by pop group Bucks Fizz, released in 1981. It features their Eurovision-winning song 'Making Your Mind Up'.
In May the follow-up single, also written and produced by Hill, was released. 'Piece of the Action' proved that Bucks Fizz were not one-hit wonders, despite the reputation of the Contest, and quickly became another worldwide hit.
The record company, RCA were keen to get an album out, and Bucks Fizz was released in late July 1981.
Recorded between promotional tours and a hectic schedule, the album featured ten pop tracks, most of them quite different to 'Making Your Mind Up', the song that had made their name.
The album was released in a glossy gatefold sleeve, depicting head and shoulders shots of the group both inside and outside. Produced and largely written by Hill, the album also became a success when it reached number 14 in the UK Album Charts.

In 1981, Bucks Fizz won the Eurovision Song Contest with 'Making Your Mind Up'.
German singer Maggie Mae recorded this German cover version with alternative lyrics written by Werner Schüler and Bernd Meinunger.
Entitled 'Rock 'n' Roll cowboy', it's a tale of a woman who is seduced by a Marlboro-man type of figure, but on a motorbike instead of a horse.
Maggie Mae was born as Cosima Andrea Carle on May 13, 1960 and made a name for herself as singer and actress. Soon after the release of this single she met Robert Trammel, with whom she married and moved to the USA. She ended her singing career and started working as a nurse.

Ferry Aid were a British-American ensemble group, brought together to record the song 'Let It Be' in 1987.
The single was released following the Zeebrugge Disaster, which had occurred on 6 March 1987 involving the capsizing of the MS Herald of Free Enterprise ferry, which killed 193 passengers and crew. All proceeds from sales of the single were donated to the charity set up in the aftermath of the disaster.
The recording was organised by The Sun newspaper, after they had sold cheap tickets for the ferry on that day. 'Let It Be' was written by Lennon/McCartney and originally recorded by The Beatles in 1969.

'If You Can't Stand the Heat' is a single by UK pop group Bucks Fizz.
Written by Andy Hill and Ian Bairnson and produced by Hill, the song became the group's fifth top 10 single (and seventh consecutive top 20 hit), eventually peaking at No.10 in January 1983.
The lyrics of the song tell of someone who is manipulative, but when faced with her own medicine, can't handle it, hence the song's title. The song was a change for the group in that it was their first single where the two female members took the lead vocals on the track - according to the group, this was done due to requests from fans. It has also been noted that the faint reggae beat on the track gives it a slight variation on the group's usually straightforward pop. The song received a positive review from Record Mirror magazine, which complimented the song's production values. The Promotional Video depicts a day in the life of Bucks Fizz, featuring rehearsals, press interviews and culminating in a live performance.
The song featured on the group's third album, 'Hand Cut', released in 1983, while an extended 12" remix was released in tandem with the 7". The single came in two different picture sleeves - both with the same photographs, but with different coloured backgrounds - yellow and orange.
An alternate mix of the song appeared on the group's 2005 compilation The Ultimate Anthology.

'The Land of Make Believe' is a song produced by Andy Hill for Bucks Fizz, with music by Hill and lyrics by ex-King Crimson member Peter Sinfield. Despite the apparent sugar-coated style of the song, Sinfield later claimed it was a subtle attack on Margaret Thatcher and her government's policy at the time.
'The Land of Make Believe' was the second of three UK number 1 singles for the British Eurovision winners Bucks Fizz, staying at the top for two weeks in January 1982. It remained on the charts for 16 weeks.
The song has a rocky edge, mixed with a spooky beginning, which entices the listener. The lyrics are based on a child's dream where ghostly voices lure the child outside to a world where everything is bright and happy, but the child resists. Characters, Superman and Captain Kidd are referenced in the lyrics. The close of the song features a nursery rhyme narrated by Abby Kimber, who was the 11-year old daughter of an executive of RCA Records. This was an original piece, penned by Sinfield, and read:
"I've got a friend who came to tea, And no-one seems to know but me, He came today, but had to go To visit you? You never know!"
At the time, radio stations were instructed to fade the song before the narration, never knew why.
The music video is a parody of many childhood stories. It begins in a black and white bedroom, with Cheryl in bed, before waking up and in a parody of The Wizard of Oz the picture changes to colour, and Cheryl is transformed by a fairy in the style of Cinderella. She then walks from everyday life, through a gap into a winter wonder land and has to push her way through many fir trees, in a copy of "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", before joining the rest of the band on stage.
The single was released in November 1981 and became a top 10 hit in December, being popular over Christmas and being placed at No.5 for the Christmas chart. The following week it was placed at No.2, behind The Human League's 'Don't You Want Me', before finally taking over at Number 1 in January.
The song was later included on the group's second album, Are You Ready
'The Land of Make Believe' remains a firm fan favourite and reviews in the press at the time were positive with Smash Hits calling the song "sheer genius" and more recently Q Magazine labelling the song "not half bad" and "an 80s classic". Members Bobby G and Cheryl Baker have both named it as the best of their own songs. The song became the biggest selling single by the group in the UK, outselling their Eurovision winner 'Making Your Mind Up', to finish as the 41st biggest seller of the 1980s in the UK. It also reached Number 1 in The Netherlands and Ireland, while in Germany it also became their biggest selling single. The song became the group's debut single release in the US, but was unsuccessful there

'Making Your Mind Up' was the United Kingdom's entry to the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest, having won the National finals that year with ease.
The song went on to win the Contest itself and began a successful pop career for Bucks Fizz, who became one of the UK's biggest selling artists of the 1980s.
The single was number 1 in the UK singles chart for three weeks in April 1981 and performed well throughout Europe, selling four million copies in total. It was written by Andy Hill and John Danter and also produced by Hill. The song title has also given the name to the UK selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest.
'Making Your Mind Up' is held in affectionate regard by many Eurovision fans, and is generally considered to be a good example of a pop song from the Contest as it has a strong beat and catchy lyrics. Receiving of less favourable response however was the group's performance of the song, which was considered to be off-key, and led to much criticism that the members were chosen more for appearance than vocal ability. In addition, the performance is remembered for the point at which the two male members of the group removed the skirts of the two female members – only to reveal shorter skirts beneath them.
The single began a run of 20 UK hits for the group. Despite the success of the song, some fans of the group don't consider it to be a good reperesentation of their work, while Cheryl Baker doesn't rate it as one of their best songs.
However I still love the song as it was the song that introduced me to the band as I watched them on Eurovision.

'London Town' is a single by UK pop group Bucks Fizz and was released in September 1983, this was the group's tenth single.
The song became their first single to peak outside the top twenty after nine consecutive top 20 hits. Eventually reaching No.34, the song remained on the chart for six weeks.
Written by Andy Hill, the lyrics tell of someone who is finding it difficult to adjust to life in a big city but is determined to stay. Lead vocals on the track are by member Bobby G, although he was unhappy with the way his vocals were mixed, giving them a distorted quality, claiming that he "sounded like a munchkin".
This single was a short-notice replacement for another song, 'Invisible', which featured lead vocals by Jay Aston, but was withdrawn for reasons which are unclear. Details of its release had already been announced to the fan club and mentioned on radio. The song was eventually released on the 12" version of 'I Hear Talk' over a year later.
The Promotional Video features the group performing the track in a variety of indoor locations including a Tube station.

Cheryl Baker is a television presenter and singer who is most famous for being a member of 1980s pop group Bucks Fizz, and has performed for the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest twice, winning it the second time with Bucks Fizz.
From 1992, this was Cheryl Bakers second solo single. (Her first being 'If Paradise Is Half As Nice' in 1987.) Sadly, 'Sensuality' faired even worse that her first solo single and didn't even chart in the UK. For the release, she dropped her surname and just called herself 'Cheryl'. The b-side to the single was new track 'Love To Love'. I know that this is not from the 80's but it is an 80's related artit and I just had to put it up being a Bucks Fizz fan.

One reviewer remarked that the impressive vocal structure would give Bucks Fizz some much-needed credibility.
The song centres around the narrator who looks back on younger days and recalls how innocent he was then, while the promotional video for the song saw the group in a World War II setting. Released in June 1982, this single followed up two No.1 hits, 'My Camera Never Lies' and ' The Land Of Make Believe' and reached Number 8 in the UK Singles Charts.
In Australia and many European countries, this single went unreleased, with tracks, 'Are You Ready' or 'Easy Love' being released in its place. The single was also later featured as the B-Side to 'You and Your Heart So Blue' - a 1985 single.
The singles B-Side, 'Takin' Me Higher' was a first, in that it was written and produced by the group themselves. The style of the song was slightly more hard-hitting than the group's usual output, with a lengthy intro, overlapping vocals and a full, but somewhat cluttered production. The group continued to write and produce songs for their B-Sides over the next few years. A newly recorded version of 'Now Those Days Are Gone' was released in 2006 on the Bucks Fizz album, 'The Lost Masters', while an early demo by Hill was released in 2008 on 'The Lost Masters 2 - The Final Cut'. This demo featured an expletive, which necessitated the album to include a Parental advisory sticker.
