General Public - I'll Take You There

General Public released 'I'll Take You There' in 1994.

Taken from the soundtrack to the movie 'Threesome' the single became a hit in the US where it became number 1 on the US Dances Charts. The single also managed to make it to number 22 on the US Hot 100 while getting to number 8 in New Zealand, number 14 in Canada and number 73 in the UK Singles Charts.

'Hot Your Cool' appeared on the album 'All The rage' and was a dance hit in the US in  1985.

In the US it was released as a promo 12 inch and became a big hit on the US Dance Charts making it to number 16.

General Public , not to be confused with Lyndon's Public Image Limited (Pil) Formed by The Beat's vocalists Dave Wakeling and Ranking Roger.

This dub tinged debut featured keyboards from a Dexy's Midnight Runner with Mick Jones on guitar and Horace Panter (the Specials) on bass.

The single made it to number 60 on the UK Singles Chart.
