Links Are Dead - I Know

I keep getting Emails from people asking me to re-upload the links and music etc. I think people are just getting to those particular pages so are not reading the reason for the dead links.

So I am putting this in place so hopefully people will read it and stop Emailing me about it.

The reason the links are dead is that my account with Media Fire has been closed with all 11,000 files lost. That is why you can not download the things and No I can not re-upload them.

Eventually I will start doing that again when I have found something suitable. In the meantime this blog will be information only blog.

Thank you all

Michaael

Five Star - Let Me Be Yours

'Let Me Be Yours' is the name of a 1988 hit single by Five Star. Released in November of that year as their intended Christmas single, the track entered the UK Singles charts at number 51 but failed to go any higher. 'Let Me Be Yours' seemed to be liked by both the fans and critics, as it was the group's first ballad since 'Strong As Steel' a year earlier. They tried to return to the simple pop formula that made them famous, but many fans had not forgiven them for the leather clad look of the previous singles.

The video consisted of all five members of the band cleverly changing into one another to prepare for a night out. The song was mainly released to compete with Cliff Richard's 'Mistletoe and Wine', and Bros's double A-side 'Cat Among the Pigeons/Silent Night'. 'Let Me Be Yours' became Five Star's second single so far to miss the Top 40, after a three year run of Top 20 hits. It also became the fourth and final release from their Top 20 album Rock The World, which peaked at number 17 in August 1988.
