Smash Hits - 7th January to 20th January 1982

Well early last year I set up a sister blog with the intention of putting up old issues of Smash Hits Magazine.  I put up a couple of issues and then life took over, as it does.

Well I decided to try and do better this year and put more issues up (Can't promise this will happen but will try hard I promise).

So here is to the first of the new issues and this is one that is 30 years old this week being the 7th to 20th January 1982.

In this issue you can find:
Front Cover - Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark,
Centre Spread - Squeeze,
Back Cover - Dollar

Interviews:
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark,
Adam Ant,
Pigbag,
Siouxsie and the Banshees

Lyrics included:
Hazel O'Connor - Sons And Lovers; Heaven 17 - Geisha Boys And Temple Girls;
Depeche Mode - Dreaming Of Me; Duran duran - Friends Of Mine; Pink Flloyd - See Emily Play; Echo And The Bunnymen - Monkeys; Elvis Presley - King Creole; Soft Cell - Memorabilia;
Leyton Buzzards - Saturday Night Beneath The Plastic Palm Trees; Queen - Killer Queen;
Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead; The Damned - Don't Cry Wolf; Talking Heads - Psycho Killer;

  1. I used to buy Smash Hits every other week from 1986 to 1994.

    Do you have some issue of that period?
