Links Are Dead - I Know

I keep getting Emails from people asking me to re-upload the links and music etc. I think people are just getting to those particular pages so are not reading the reason for the dead links.

So I am putting this in place so hopefully people will read it and stop Emailing me about it.

The reason the links are dead is that my account with Media Fire has been closed with all 11,000 files lost. That is why you can not download the things and No I can not re-upload them.

Eventually I will start doing that again when I have found something suitable. In the meantime this blog will be information only blog.

Thank you all

Michaael

Julia Fordham - Happy Ever After

'Happy Ever Afer' was the debut single by the fantastic singer songwritter Julia Fordham (wikipedia mistakes this as the 2nd single). The single was released in June 1988 and made it to number 27 in the UK singles Charts in August of the same year.

A beautiful single with a simple video made me love the style and performance of this song when I first heard it back when it was first released. The single came about after Fordham had seen images about the South African struggles. A simple but powerful message.

I went to see her live and loved the performance of this single.

Fordham re-released the single again in 2005 in aid of the tsunami appeal. This new version had children singing some of the verses.

Julia had previously performed backing vocals for Mari wilson and Kim Wilde but it was not until her debut album called 'Julia fordam' that her vocal talent and emotional lyrics were introduced to the public. this provided her with a small but committed fan base of which I was one. It was not until the 90's that Fordham wouold have higher success in the charts but that is another story.
