'Lessons in Love', was a single from the UK band Level 42, released in 1986, from the album 'Running in the Family'.It's one of the few singles from the band that broke into the Billboard Hot 100, where it reached number 12 in 1987.
It was also another hit for them in the UK, where it reached number 3 on the UK Singles Chart, their biggest hit here.
It won fame in countries where Level 42 was little known, such as Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Indonesia and others.
It also became the first of five singles from their 1987 album 'Running in the Family', and it made way for the success of other singles from the album.
