In October 1980 UB40 released their 3rd single. It was a double A Side called 'The Earth Dies Screaming' and 'Dream A Lie'.The picture sleeve is a replica of the British Dole form (called a "UB40").
The single made it to number 10 in the UK Singles Chart.
Both tracks were not available on their album 'Signng Off' as they were recorded while the album was being released. It wasn't until 1985, when the album was re-packaged, under the title'The UB40 File', that the 2 tracks were included.
