In October 1980 Simple Minds released their 4th single 'I Travel'. Released on the Arista label the single was released from their Empires and Dance Album.The initial release came with a bonue picture flexi disc. Like the previous 2 singles 'I Travel' failed to chart.
Virgin records re-relesed 'I Travel' in 1982 from the Celebration Album. This release omitted 'New Warm Skin' as the b-side but included the 2 tracks from the flexi disc as the singles b-side instead. As with the previous release this one also failed to chart.
