'Never Trust a Stranger' is the third single from 'Close', the sixth original album by Kim Wilde.Remixed from the original album track by producer Ricki Wilde, it was released as a single in the autumn of 1988 following the best-selling hit 'You Came' and several European tour dates supporting Michael Jackson.
'Never Trust A stranger' became another big hit Wilde in Europe, reaching number 7 in the UK singles Chart, number 11 in Germany, number 2 in Austria, number 20 in France, number 12 in Sweden, number 5 in Irland and number 4 in Switzerland and Netherland.
An extended version of the single remix was released on the 12" and CD-single formats, and a different remix ('Sanjazz") was released in the UK on an alternative 12" single.
