Akiko Yano - Ai Ga Nakucha Ne

Akiko Yano is a Japanese pop and jazz musician and singer. She was born as Akiko Suzuki (Suzuki Akiko) in Tokyo and raised in Aomori, Aomori, and later began her singing career in the mid-1970s. Her vocals and singing style has often been compared to the contemporary English singer Kate Bush

Akiko Yano released her 9th studio album 'Ai Ga Nakucha Ne' in 1982. Yano had been working with members of Yellow Magic Orchestra and the group Japan who helped Yano to record this album in London.

David Sylvian sang on the track 'Good Night' while both Mick Karn, Steve Jansen and Ryuichi Sakamoto played and sometimes provided backing voculs on some of the tracks.
