The Adventures are a Northern Irish pop group, formed in Belfast in 1984.
Following the split from Chrysalis Records the band were picked up by Elektra Records.
In 1988 the band released their most successful single entitled 'Broken Land'.
With a burst of promotion and heavy airplay, this new single reached number 20 in the UK Singles Chart and spent 10 weeks on the chart.
The single also became the most played song on BBC Radio 1 in 1988.
