David's first solo single 'Young Americans Talking' was released on WEA records and narrowly missed a place in the UK Top 40 reaching number 43 on the UK Singles Chart in 1983.The single was produced by Andy Hill, the man responsible for the success of Bucks Fizz. Andy Hill also wrote and produced the b-side 'Fighting For The Country' which he also recorded with his own group Paris. The 12" version (which also came with a free poster) includes extended versions of both tracks.
I don't have the B-side or the 12 inch extended of this track. If anyone has them and is willling to share then please let me know.
