‘Jonah’, by Breathe, was taken from their versatile debut album ‘All That Jazz’, was chosen as the follow-up single to the Top 5 hit ‘Hands to Heaven’ in 1988.This single is an uptempo mix of powerful pop and laid-back charm effortlessly displaying the strong vocal talents of lead singer David Glasper and the band's solid musical structuring.
The song is a love song with Glasper's soulful voice riding over a bed of Hammond organ and propelled by a full Philadelphia-style horn section.
The video was made by Godley and Creme Productions. The single made it to number 60 in the UK Singles Chart but was not released in the US.
